About MoonShine

Welcome to MoonShine Salons, where we honor our rich heritage and community spirit. Our brand is inspired by our ancestors who thrived as cowboys and moonshiners during the prohibition, we aim to create a and inviting space for everyone. Just as the Bognuda Club once brought people together. Our goal is to foster connections and celebrate our local culture in beautiful Northern California.

MoonShines Evolution

Our First Location (2023)

As Jordan's career evolved, he saw a need for more inclusive spaces in Northern California. In 2023, he brought that vision to life with the opening of MoonShine Salons' first location on Lake Blvd. It was an open concept salon with six booth rental chairs that quickly took off!

Our Second Location (2024)

By 2024, we had outgrown our first location and relocated to our Hartnell space, expanding to ten booth rental stations. Situated next to SalonCentric, the new location offered added convenience for stylists and supported our continued growth.

MoonShine Salons (2026)

In our latest chapter, we embraced a rebrand centered around a calming, holistic experience. We moved into a cozy space in the heart of Downtown, expanding our offering to include hair services, facials, head spa treatments, and massage.

About Jordan

With 1600 hours of hands-on training at Paul Mitchell as my foundation, I approach beauty as both an art and an experience. I believe the chair is more than a place for transformation; it's a space to exhale, reset and reconnect. My work is rooted in the idea that true beauty and wellness move together. Every service is thoughtfully tailored, blending technique with intuition to create results that feel as good as they look. Whether I'm shaping hair or curating a holistic facial experience, my intention is to leave you feeling lighter, grounded and a little bit more radiant than when you walked in.

Jordan's Education & Experience

Paul Mitchell the School - San Diego (2021-2022)

He completed 1600 hours of training and got to work on numerous runway and fashion events including San Diego Swim Week 2022

Jordan became a licensed cosmetologist 2022 and began building his career and improving his skill attending extra courses including classes held by the professional shears brand Hanzo.

MoonShine Salons (2023)

While building his career, Jordan realized Northern California lacked inclusive spaces. In 2023, MoonShine Salons first location was created and was in instant hit; by 2024, we expanded into a new space and built a wonderful team. As the local market changes we shifted our business structure to fit the current demand. MoonShine Salons is partnering with Le Soleil Holistics to create a new welcoming, calm salon and spa to help you awaken your inner radiance.
